Akron seniors Rachel Tecca

Univesity of Akron: Tecca and Luburgh ended the regular season as the highest-scoring tandem in college basketball. Tecca’s stats improved over last year, a season in which she was named Mid-American Conference Player of the Year. Tecca, a forward from Archbishop Hoban High School, averaged 22.8 points and 9.7 rebounds per game. Luburgh, a guard, nudged her out with 22.9 points and averaged 6.9 rebounds per game.

U.M.F. Grindavik (Dominos League) added to their roster American forward Rachel Tecca (185, college: Akron, agency: LBM Management). She played this summer at Washington Mystics (WNBA). The previous season Tecca played at The University of Akron in Mid-American Conference in the NCAA. In 5 games she recorded very impressive stats: 18.6ppg, 8.4rpg, 1.4apg and 1.8spg.
She just graduated from University of Akron and it will be her first season as a pro. Tecca’s team won MAC Tournament. She was voted All-MAC 1st Team in 2013 and 2014 at her college time.

AZS UMCS Lublin (BLK) strengthened their roster with addition of American guard Hanna Luburgh (178). Luburgh just graduated from Akron (NCAA). In 33 games she recorded very impressive stats: 22.2ppg, 7.2rpg and 2.1apg last season. She helped them to win MAC Tournament and end the regular season as the second best team in the conference. Great season indeed as she was voted to All-MAC 1st Team.
As mentioned above Luburgh is just out of the college and it will be her first season in pro basketball. She won MAC Regular Season East Division championship title in 2013.
