25-year old power forward Raven Berry (185-F/C-88) had a very impressive game in the last round for Lemvig and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 15.
She had a double-double of 19 points and 14 rebounds, while her team beat Falcon (#7, 6-9) 74-66. Lemvig is placed at 4th position in Danish Dameligaen. They would have been even better if they hadn’t lost a few games earlier this season. Lemvig will need more victories to improve their 9-6 record. Berry turned to be Lemvig’s top player in her first season with the team. S.Illinois University – Edwardsville graduate has very impressive stats this year. Berry is in league’s top in points (7th best: 15.9ppg), rebounds (7th best: 8.8rpg) and averages solid 51.2% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Freja Christensen (174-G-94) of Falcon. She is a guard in her 3rd season at Falcon. In the last game Christensen recorded impressive 20 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists. Bad luck as Falcon lost that game 66-74 to the higher-ranked Lemvig (#4, 9-6). Falcon managed to keep the same 7th spot in the standings. Her team is not often considered as one of the league’s best with a mere 6-9 record. Christensen is one of the most experienced players at Falcon and has a reputation of one of team’s most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Tea Jorgensen (177-F-87) of league’s leader SISU. Jorgensen scored 13 points and passed four assists. She was a key player of SISU, leading her team to a 67-50 easy win against the lower-ranked Stevnsgade (#6, 8-7). Many experts and fans count SISU as a contender for championship title. Another victory and another confirmation that they may be right. Just look at their record: 14 victories and only one lost games. They are currently at the very top of the standings. Jorgensen has a very solid season. In 11 games in Denmark she scored 9.7ppg. She also has 4.8rpg and 2.9spg.
