Candace Warthen
Eurobasket: Hyvinkaan Ponteva (SM-sarja) tabbed 25-year old American guard Candice Warthen (165-92, college: Arizona). She played most recently at Lulea Basket in Swedish Damligan. In 20 games she averaged 6.9ppg, 3.3rpg and 2.0apg last season. Warthen helped them to win the Damligan title (twice) despite they ended the regular season at the second place (twice). She also played for Associacio Esportiva Sedis Basquet in Spanish LFB that season. But in 10 games she had just 1.6ppg and 1.4rpg.
Warthen has played previously for another Finnish team Forssan Alku.
She attended University of Arizona until 2015 and it will be her third season in pro basketball.
