Damika Martinez
MKK Siedlce (BLK) landed 23-year old American guard Damika Martinez (170-92, agency: Macklin & Lovett Associates). She just graduated from Iona (NCAA). In 29 games she averaged impressive 23.4ppg, 4.6rpg, 2.6apg and 1.1spg last season. It was a very successful year in her career as she was awarded All-MAAC Player of the Year and selected to All-MAAC 1st Team.
As mentioned above Martinez is just out of the college and it will be her first season in pro basketball. Her team made it to the MAAC Tournament Semifinals in 2014. Martinez represented USA at the FIBA Americas in Edmonton (Canada) this year. Her stats at that event were 5 games: 7.6ppg, 1.8rpg, FGP: 57.9%, 3PT: 35.7%.
