26-year old center Travis Nelson (208-C-87) had a great game in the last round for second-ranked BK Synthesia Pardubice and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 24.
He had the game-high 29 points adding three rebounds and two assists for BK Pardubice in his team’s victory, helping them to outclass J.Hradec (#11, 5-18) with 30-point margin 104-74. BK Pardubice maintains the 2nd position in Czech Republic league. They would have been even better if they hadn’t lost a few games earlier this season. BK Pardubice will need more victories to improve their 15-8 record. It’s Nelson’s second year at BK Pardubice and it’s hard to imagine this team without him. Minnesota State University Mankato graduate has very impressive stats this year. Nelson is in league’s top in points (9th best: 14.4ppg) and averages solid 57.5% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Ales Chan (215-C-80) of USK Praha. He is former international center in his first season at USK Praha. In the last game Chan recorded impressive 21 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists. Bad luck as USK Praha was edged by the higher-ranked Orli Prostejov (#1, 18-5) 86-83. USK Praha is still in a red zone at 9th spot in . His team is not often considered as one of the league’s best with a mere 8-17 record. Chan is a newcomer at USK Praha and quickly became one of team’s most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Martin Kriz (201-PF-93) of CEZ Nymburk (#6). Kriz scored 17 points and grabbed eight rebounds. He was a key player of CEZ Nymburk, leading his team to a 95-55 easy win against the lower-ranked MMCITE Brno (#12, 5-18). CEZ Nymburk have amazing season winning all 11 games without a single defeat in Round 2. Kriz turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Kriz has a very solid season. In 10 games in Czech Republic he scored 6.7ppg.

7. Jakub Blazek (203-F-80) of BK Opava – 19 points and 7 rebounds
8. Jakub Sirina (185-G-87) of BK Opava – 21 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists
9. Joe Willman (201-F-91) of NH Ostrava – 18 points and 7 rebounds
10. Ondrej Kohout (204-F-91) of Orli Prostejov – 15 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists

The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it’s accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) – 2*BSAG – 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM – 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) – 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) – (FTA-FTM)
