She had a double-double of 10 points and 16 rebounds, while her team crushed, Second Stage botton-ranked team Tim-Scuf (#4, 0-2) with 17-point margin 62-45. It allowed Olimpia to consolidate first place in the Baltic League Group A. The season is still on an early stage, but Olimpia already had a very good start winning all 3 without losing a single one. Seabrook turned to be Olimpia’s top player in her first season with the team.

Second best performed player last round was Aleksandra Khomenchuk (202-C-89) of Gorizont. She is Russian-Ukrainian center in her 3rd season at Gorizont. In the last game Khomenchuk recorded impressive double-double of 14 points and 12 rebounds. Of course she lead Gorizont to another comfortable win outscoring Eclex Tallinn (0-2) 76-50. Her team has extremely good start of the Second Stage. They won their first game. However the Second Stage is at the beginning, so everything can happen. They still may lose their high position in the standings. Khomenchuk is one of the most experienced players at Gorizont and has a reputation of one of team’s most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to another Gorizont’s star – forward Tatyana Troina (188-F-81). Troina showcased her all-around game by recording 13 points, nine rebounds and nine assists in the last round. She was another key player of Gorizont, helping her team with a 76-50 easy win against #0 ranked Eclex Tallinn in a game of the week. Gorizont has a very good start of the Second Stage. But there was just one game played, so it’s too early to judge them at this stage. Troina also has a very good start of the Second Stage with very strong stats. The season just started for Troina as she played only first game. But it already looks like she can be another team’s leader.

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it’s accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) – 2*BSAG – 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM – 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) – 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) – (FTA-FTM)
