Experience: NBA Miami Heat, Belgium, Spain, Argentina, Venezuela, Brazil, UNLV. A native of Thibodaux, La., Savoy played for UNLV from 1993 to 1995 and led the team in scoring his senior season, averaging 14.7 points per game.
Savoy signed with the NBA Miami Heat out of college. He also played internationally in Argentina, Brazil, Belgium, France, Israel, Mexico, Spain and Venezuela before retiring in 2007.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal ranked Savoy No. 81 on its 2010 list of top-100 basketball players in UNLV history.
