Anze Kos is a new basketball player for Virtus Imola for the 2019/2020 season.
Shooting guard and point guard, born in 1993, he was born and raised in Ljubljana, Slovenia, before tackling the experiences in the United States, France and Sweden.
He arrives at the Santerno after a good season in SuperEttan, the second Swedish division, at the Lulea Steeler where he showed off as a leader in the field, scoring 13.6 average points per game with over 40% percentages in pitches from the field and from the distance.
Kos is a versatile shooter, having many shots, with quick release of the ball and good shooting mechanics. The precision in the organization of the schemes and the good balance in execution make it very interesting as a prospectus in yellow.
He is familiar with the transition game and, despite being a great shooter, he has the “vice” of serving enticing assists for his teammates. He knows how to position himself well in defense, exploiting the movements of the team.
Certainly he has the attitude of a leader in the field, showing himself to be reliable and practical in the gym. It will bring to Virtus the winning mentality acquired on the various European and US fields.
